LEAGUE Management Company (LMC) on Saturday revealed the new official match ball for the 2016/17 season, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
The match ball has a big Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) logo and that of its television right sponsors, SuperSports.
Early fixtures on the ball, didn't indicate if the ball was manufactured by Addidas, Nike or other top sports kitting brands.
Recall the domestic league is yet to have a title sponsors after telecommunication brand, Globacom ended their 10 year deal with the LMC last season.
The match balls will be made available to the 16 topflight teams and the four newly promoted ones of Gombe United, Kastina United, ABS FC and Remo Stars.
Rangers International of Enugu are the current champions of the Nigeria Premier League.
