RANGERS International of Enugu top score, Chisom Egbuchulam could play his first game of the Nigeria Premier League season against El-Kanemi Warriors on Sunday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
An inside source confirmed that the one time Super Eagles invitee is in Enugu.
"Chisom is back to the squad, he trained with his teammates this morning (Saturday).
"He looked sharp and fit to wear the Rangers shirt tomorrow against El-Kanemi Warriors."
Recall Chisom was declared awol by the Flying Antelopes a month after they were crowned champions after reports had it that he had gone to Tunisia for trials with champions, Etoile du Sahel, Club Africaine and undisclosed club in Turkey.
He also did score a brace in the 4-0 thrashing of the Borno Army when they met in the last game of last season that saw Rangers lifting the NPL title after 32-years.
Meanwhile, injured striker, Ifeanyi Egwim says he is happy with the way he is recovering and might start training very soon.
The former Dolphins FC of Port-Harcourt ace is set to visit Germany for a check up. Egwim broke the fibula and Tibia of his right leg in an injury that looked career threatening.
