VICTOR Osimhen has given his reasons on why he shunned the move to Arsenal for German Bundesliga side, VfL Wolfsburg.
Osimhen won the U17 World Cup with Nigeria in 2015 emerging as the tournament most valuable player (MVP) and setting a new goal scoring record too.
"There were many clubs that were interested in me. But my choice fell nevertheless to the VfL, because I think that my development opportunities are highest here," he said.
"Had I gone to Arsenal, for example, I might not have found the way to the first team so quickly.
"I've worked hard to get where I am now."
After his unveiling on Thursday, Osimhen expressed gratitude to God for making it possible for him.
He said on his official Twitter handle @victorosimhen9:"Thank you Lord
