SUPER Eagles ace, Victor
Moses believes his career would have been under threat had he not
completed his season long loan move to Liverpool from Chelsea.
The former Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic star was one of
three signings made by Brendan Rodgers on transfer deadline day,
arriving at Anfield alongside defenders Mamadou Sakho and Tiago Ilori.
Just 12 of Moses' 28 starts last season came in the Premier League,
prompting Jose Mourinho to allow the 22-year-old to leave on loan
following the arrivals of Willian and Andre Schurrle, who will contest
for a starting berth in the already crowded attacking midfield
department.
The Nigerian international is almost certain to be gifted more
opportunities this season under Brendan Rodgers and has stressed how
detrimental a lack of playing time may have proved to be, a likely
scenario had he stayed at Stamford Bridge.
"As a young football coming up, I just want to play games," Moses told Liverpool's official website.
