Emenike rejects Asia move-Fenerbahce
.Passes health checks
PLANS by
Fenerbahce of Turkey to ship out Emmanuel Emenike to an English Premier League
or Asian side have hit the rock.
Recall, the
Super Eagles was tipped to quit the Yellow Canaries following his not too
impressive form he had last season.
According to
Fanatik, the offers were turned down by Fenerbahce following the fees the clubs
wanted to pay for Emenike’s services.
Fanatik was
quoted, “The management wanted to sell Emenike but the proposal failed to
receive the kind of expected fee from England where he really wanted to play, this
completely demoralize the Nigerian.”
“Emenike,
also had offers from Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and also from Saudi
Arabia. But the 28-year-old does not want to go to any of these countries.”
Meanwhile,
the Nigerian passed the medical checks he had on last Friday.
Emenike at the
Goztepe Medical Park Hospital saw him having his blood level, eyes and
respiratory system, ear, nose and throat examined by his club doctors.
After the
checks, the Nigerian was later given a clean bill of health.
