Dikko, Akinwumi for Sunshine Premier League kick-off

SHEU Dikko, Chairman, League Management Company (LMC) and  Barr. Seyi Akinwumi Vice President, Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) are among the dignitaries penciled down for the kick-off of the Sunshine Premier League on July 2.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Chairman, Ondo State League Management Committee (O'LMC), Dapo Ajibade and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Akure.
According to the statement,Dikko and Akinwumi will be the chairman and special guest of honour respectively for the league, organised by the O'LMC.
The South West State FA Chairmen are also expected to grace the occasion.
The co-hosts for the events are; the Executive Board Member of the NFF, Otunba Dele Ajayi and  LMC Member, Hon, Akin Akinbobola, who is also the Chairman of the Ondo State Football Agency.
"Efforts of the present Board of the Nigeria Football Federation to develop the game of football at the grassroots has been taken as a top priority by the Ondo State Football  Association under the Chairmanship of Otunba Dele Ajayi.
"In this regard, the Ondo FA League Management Committee(O'LMC) has concluded arrangements to formally unveil its patrons and products- the Sunshine Premier League (SPL).
"This is the first time top echelons of Nigerian football will be in Ondo state officially to witness an event many  tagged  'super vision'. Aims and objectives of the O'LMC will be highlighted at the event as well," the statement said.
