SOME fans of Shooting Stars of Ibadan have blasted under-pressure Coach Kadiri Ikhana and his players after their shambling performance in the home loss to Lobi Stars of Makurdi.
A few who vent their anger at the ex-Enyimba coach and some players told NaijaSportsXtra that: "I don't to judge the team with today's home defeat to Lobi Stars, but I want to question the tactics of the coach. How can you start Yinka Adedeji at the left side of the midifield as against his left-back position.
"To make matters worse, Ikhana showed he was under pressure minutes after Lobi got their goal as he made two first half changes that saw Daddy Bazuaye come in, only to be removed less than 15 minutes to the start of the second half when he about to play a free-kick he won at the edge of the box.
I was not suprise when his shot hit the wall, as that moment killed his playing psychology."
Another who felt frustrated said: "I ought to be in my living room or viewing centre watching the FA Cup game between Chelsea and Manchester City, I gained nothing watching Shooting Stars even with the increase in ticket prices of N200, N500 and N1,000.
With what I have seen today (Sunday), this is not the team I knew last season.
"So we are pleading with the coaches and players to please improve on their game as 3SC can't be fighting relegation this early."
The defeat leaves the Oluyole Warriors 20th on the log.
