Uwa: Underrate me, your problem

By Rasaq Oboirien
COACH Gowin Koko Uwa says he's less concern about what other Nigeria Premier League managers care about him.
Uwa, who has been out of the coaching circle for more than five years, led his Lobi Stars team to their first away victory of the season after they defeated Shooting Stars of Ibadan on matchday 1 at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba.
Former Oluyole Warrior, Kingsley Eduwo scored the only goal for the Makurdi team after less than 20minutes of play.
Eduwo made the better of 3SC poor defending to side volley the ball pass two defenders.
Uwa told NaijaSportsXtra that: "It was a good game, and if you underrate me, that's a problem for you.
"Though I didn't expect to win here knowing who Ikhana is as his coaching pedigree speaks for him.
"The Edo-Born is a top class manager likewise me, but coming here to claim the 3points is good for the team.
"Kudos to my players as they stocked to the game plan, and defended well too."
Recall, Lobi Stars became the first team this season to honour a game via flight after they flew to Lagos from Abuja. Same they did going back to Makurdi on Monday.
