ONLY 14 Warri Wolves players honoured the Nigeria Premier League matchday 1 game against Heartland FC in Owerri, NaijaSportsXtra can report.
The team list of the visiting team had just three on the bench.
A source from the camp of the Seasiders disclosed that: "We took just 14 players to Owerri for the tie against Heartland.
"Aside from the starting 11, only a reserve goalkeeper, midfielder and a striker made the bench.
"The reason for this, we are yet to complete the registration of some of the players we signed for the new season.
"We are hope that we'll be having a full house for our mid-week game, as we are already through to the next round of the CAF Champions League after our opponents from Soa Tome pulled out last week."
