CHELSEA TOUR: Mikel, Moses arrive Montreal
SUPER Eagles duo of John Mikel Obi and Victor Moses could have well cemented their place in Chelsea as they were part of the squad that arrived Montreal, Canada Wednesday night to start their pre-season campaign.
Recall that both players have been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge this summer.
But being on board to Montreal with the Premier League champions for a two week pre-season training, the Nigerian internationals will be hoping to impress Jose Mourinho during the trip and earn a place in the squad for the coming season.
The current Barclays English Premier League kings will face the New York Red Bulls next Wednesday in New York in their first pre-season game before a clash against PSG in Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday, July 25.
Mourinho’s side will then head to Washington D.C. to take on Champions League winners Barcelona on Tuesday, July 28.
Meanwhile, another Nigerian, Kenneth Omeruo was however left out of the squad, thus confirming reports that he could be shipped out of the Blues.
