House of Rep member meet Opabunmi's needs
SUCCUR continue to come the way of Nigeria ex-international
Femi Opabunmi from his kinsmen in Iwoland as the House of
Representative member representing Iwo Federal Consituency,
Honourable Gafar Akintayo Amere sent a five man delegate to
visit the former player who has been finding life difficult since his eyes problem started in 2008 at his Sanyo, Ibadan .
The Nigeria lawmaker got the information about the Trinidad and Tobaggo U-17 world cup star's predicament through the Iwoland Development Coalition (IDC) member, Adedotun. Hon Amere expressed shock on the present condition of the ex-international, Femi Opabunmi who hail from Olupana, Iwoland.
"His matter by the special grace of Almighty God shall be reported to the appropriate and constituted authority soon but before then let me sympathize with my dear brother who has made my constituency proud." Honourable Amere said.
The five man delegate sent by the honourable member which was
led by his Personal Assistant, Adesola Adedotun also have
Akintayo Banji, Adegbile Hadhirullahi, Oyetunji Ismail Akanmu
and Prince MSA Adedimeji(IDC member) on the trip
In his speech, Adedotun said to Opabunmi: "I will implore you
to continue praising and giving glory to Almighty God for many of your caliber are no more, never mind the present situation in which you find yourself, you have many reasons why you should give glory to God, been alive is the ultimate."
The sum of One hundred thousand Naira was given to Opabunmi's
family and some food items courtesy Honourable Amere and promised the Honourable will soon visit the family on how to
put end to the family's suffering and make Opabunmi rise again.
