MARK Hughes says Ex-Eagles ace, Osaze Odemwinhie is fit for their pre-season tour of Singapore.
Hughes while speaking on his team's fitness level for the tour, admits his younger self might have looked out of place as a player in the Stoke squad which landed in Singapore last night.
He's not just talking about the 80s bubble perm, it's that today's generation of top flight talent are a different breed when it comes summer breaks.
"All the players are in good shape," said the manager
"It's not like in my day when I used to do absolutely nothing in the close season then come back and have two weeks trying to shift excess weight.
"The break does seem a bit shorter this year. It doesn't seem long since that last day of the season but they're all back and we've done a lot of good work.
"It's very humid in Singapore and can be a little bit oppressive at this time of year. We can use that to our benefit. Maybe we can shift a few pounds off the staff as well which won't be a bad thing!"
Stoke's first travelling party landed Thursday night with a playing squad supplemented by youngsters including midfielder Eddy Lecygne, winger Moha and keepers Daniel Gyollai and Dan Bachmann.
