NIGERIA'S Super Eagles recorded its first victory under Sunday Oliseh as Head Coach after they defeated Niger Republic's Mena in an international tune-up game played on Tuesday in Port-Harcourt.
Oliseh's team shaked up from last weekend's barren draw to Tanzania's Taifa Stars in the AFCON 2017 qualifiers, after stand-in skipper, Ahmed Musa and Aaron Samuel found the net in the 2-0 win over Niger.
Oliseh, made six changes to the side that played against Tanzania by including Godfrey Oboabona, Chima Akas, Rabiu Ibrahim, Usman Mohammed, Sylvester Igbonu and Anthony Ujah.
It was rather a game of two halves, and two goals in each of them.
CSKA Moscow winger scored from the spot kick in the 12th minute after a Mena defender hacked Anthony Ujah in he box as he could not match the attacking pace of the Werder Bremen striker.
The second goal came five minutes to signalling the end of game, Simon put the ball beyound the reach of a Kassaly, who spilled the ball into KAA Gent ace.
