DFB Pokal Cup: Bring on Bayern-Ujah

ANTHONY Ujah says any team in the German DFB Pokal Cup expects to play Bayern Munich.
The Nigerian put in a great performance against his former team and scored the deciding goal for which Bartels provided the assist, the joy was clear to see on the faces of Werder's players as they recorded their first home win of the season.
Speaking to Werder.de following his winning goal, "It was a great pass from Fin. My first touch was very important to put me in the right position. I think the finish was alright and that I did everything correctly."
On Bremen's likely foe in the German Cup, the Nigerian said: "Anyone except Bayern."
"The last two-game week didn't go well for us, but now we have won two out of three games. I hope that this run continues."
For a delighted Viktor Skripnik, "It was just what the doctor ordered."

On Ujah's winning goal, Fin Bartels stated: "We handled things well today. Tony's movement for his goal was reminiscent of Gerd Müller. He was a legend, but Tony is still young."
