FC IFEANYI Ubah head coach Rafael Everton believed that his team has what it takes to win the Nigeria Professional Football League this season.
Everton said ahead of today's match day 33 tie against Wikki Tourists at the Ifeanyi Ubah Intl Stadium.
"We are capable of winning the league. And the team is motivated towards that. From the day I came to this club, I spoke to my players and told them that I came to Nigeria to win tittles and we all, the players and I are working towards that. A win today will definitely takes us closer to that objective, after that we will take it a game at a time."
When asked he and his coaching staff has put up a special tactics for the match, the Brazilian tactician replied by simply saying that the team will focus on its strength.
‘We are not going to prepare any special tactics, yes we know they have the highest goal scorer of the league but we will play on our strengths. So far we have been great at home all season long, scoring a lot of goals and not losing at home. That’s how we want to go into the match.’
Everton went on to call on the fans to come all out and support the team on Sundays.
"As usually we urge them to come out massively to support us, we want to them to be the 12th man. We are grateful for all they have been doing and we will try all our best to put a smile on their face."
