SIHLANGU Semnikati Head Coach Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga has assured Swaziland that his charges are ready to face Nigeria in today’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier return leg match slated for the 40 000 capacity Adokiye Amiesiamaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.
Speaking yesterday, Bulunga said they were not feeling any pressure ahead of the tricky encounter against the Super Eagles.
“We are ready for the match as all my players are healthy and looking forward to the match. The players looked in good
shape during our training here and I am positive that they will come to the party today.
"We are not under pressure but will definitely go out for a kill. If anything, the Super Eagles are under pressure because they have to prove to the football world that they are a better team than us after 90 minutes,” he said.
Sihlangu needs at least a 1-all draw in order to qualify for the group stages, where the eventual winners will book a place in the World Cup to be hosted by Russia in 2018.
Goalkeeper Nhlanhla Gwebu is expected to lead the nation’s pride in this tough battle in the absence of inspirational captain Tony ‘Tony’ Tsabedze, who has been ruled out of the tie due to the infamous yellow card rule. The two countries played to a goalless draw in the first leg match played last Friday at Somhlolo National Stadium.
