NIGERIA'S foe in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier, Swaziland's Sihlangu will go to full-time camp today (Wednesday) in preparation for the match billed for next Friday.
The squad will face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a two-legged clash, with the first match taking place at Somhlolo National Stadium while the second leg will be played at Port Harcourt in Nigeria.
Naijasportsxtra.blogspot.com sourced from Swazi Observe informed that the National Football Association (FA) CEO Frederick Mngomezulu Tuesday disclosed that they were expecting the squad’s players to converge for camp at the Technical Centre in Lobamba today (Wednesday).
Mngomezulu said they were almost done with preparations for the camp and all the players were expected to report for camp.
“We were in a meeting Tuesday and it was agreed that the squad should start camp today. We are sorting a few things here and there in as far as logistics of the camp and match preparations are concerned,” said the CEO.
“We have already relayed the message to the players’ teams and we expect all of them to come for camp this today.
They will have nine say in camp before the match next Friday,” he said. Mngomezulu said they were aware that MTN Premier League games would be playing during the week. “We will release the players to go and play for their respective teams and we expect them to return to camp after the games.”
He said they knew when the teams were playing.  “That has been taken care of and we will not disturb the league games. I hope the teams are all happy with the arrangement.”
The CEO said they were not sure when Nigeria would be arriving in the country.
“We are expecting them anytime next week but we are not yet sure of the exact date.”
The national pride beat Djibouti 8-1 on aggregate to get to this stage of the qualifiers.
Sihlangu coach Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga said he needed two weeks to prepare for the match against Nigeria.
