NAIJASPORTSXTRA can inform that talks between Enyimba FC of Aba supremo, Felix Anyansi Agwu and ex-Head Coach, Kadiri Ikhana went well on Tuesday.
Recall Ikhana had blasted the seven times champions management for failing to renew his contract at the end of last season which ended mid November, thus making his post vacant.
But in a close door peace meeting held Tuesday, Ikhana and the put an end to the media war by agreeing that the 63-year- old, who led Enyimba to a CAF Champions League title in 2003, will not have his contract renewed.
According to Farriel Alaputa, The Aba Elephants spokesperson: "Anyansi and Ikhana are just out of a meeting. The manager will still leave the club but the mood here is positive. It's an amiable end of an era."
Meanwhile, the seven times NPL kings are expected to kick-start their CAF Champions League campaign with a tricky trip to Uganda where they tackle Vipers FC.
