Arsenal beat Spurs for Osimhen

ARSENAL look to have won the race to sign Golden Eaglets star Victor Osimhen.
The 16-year-old broke the long-standing goal-scoring record in the tournament set by Florent Sinama

Pongolle in 2001 when he found the net in the final against Mali to bag his tenth of the tournament. In light of his outstanding performances in South America, Osimhen has received considerable transfer interest, with both London clubs understood to be keen on the forward, according to The Sun of the UK.
However, as noted by the tabloid, quoting the player’s agent, Spurs look to be out of the running for the player, with Arsenal now needing just to see off German side Wolfsburg to sign the teenage sensation.
“We’ve had many offers for Victor,” player representative Gaffar Liameed began, as per The Sun, “but we’ve narrowed it down to Arsenal and Wolfsburg.”
According to the Daily Mail, reporting in November, Manchester City have also been watching the player closely, although it remains to be seen whether the Citizens are still in the running for the talented teen.
