Oliseh's appointment excites Fortuna Sittard players

PLAYERS of Dutch Ereste Divisie side, Fortuna Sittard have expressed enthusiastic after the club named Sunday Oliseh as their new Head Coach, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
German-Ghanian defender, Christopher Braun was first to react. "I am very happy.
"When Oliseh played in Germany, he was one of my favorite players. This is a very good choice by Fortuna."
His German-Nigerian teammate Junior Torunarigha says: "Yes, I am happy he is the new coach, because he was manager of the Nigerian national team. I am looking forward to the training."
Captain Ferry de Regt is also happy with the arrival of Oliseh. "I knew him directly from Ajax", De Regt says.
"Oliseh played of course for big clubs. So he brings a lot of experience to the team. Let's have a nice, second half of the season."
Attacking player Roald van Hout is looking forward to the first training.
"The first thing that crossed my mind was: 'what a big name in football the club contracted'. As a player he experienced a lot and that is very interesting. Automatically Oliseh gains a lot of respect by the players. Everybody in football knows him. In terms of experience he is totally the opposite to Ben van Dael. Oliseh managed one club before and was coach of the Nigerian national team. We will see what kind of manager he is. We will know soon enough."
Oliseh will have his first training with the squad on Monday January 2 at 15.30 hour at pitch Sanderbout while his Press conference comes up 30minutes later.
