THE management of Akwa United have handed a CAF Confederation Cup trophy target for new boss, Maurice Cooreman.
The Belgian was unveiled to the press and supporters of the Federations Cup champions today in Uyo.
NaijaSportsXtra gathered from the Promise Keepers media officer, Uwem Ekoh that:

"Coreman has signed a two years deal with the club. His wealth of experience and rich resume gave him the top job ahead of other coaches that applied for the vacant position after Zacary Baraje's contract expired last season.
"The management has charged him to win the CAF Confederation Cup with Akwa United as anything short of that would mean a review of his contract.
"He was also tasked to beef up the team will quality players that will help the club's course."
Speaking further, "The former Gombe United Technical Adviser assured his new employers that winning the Confederation Cup was achievable but tasked the club to give the team a hundred percent backing."
Cooreman and his assistants visited the Nest of Champions to inspect the facilities on ground.
