By Rasaq OboirienRIVERS State Commissioner of Sports, Boma Iyayi has ordered that all staff of the state sponsored football teams, Dolphins FC, Sharks FC and Rivers Angels to re-apply for their jobs.
NaijaSportsXtra scooped from a statement issued from the commissioners office, which instructed that any interested staff who wish to remain in the employment of the state owned teams of Nigeria Premier League side, Dolphins FC, Nigeria National League (NNL), Sharks FC and Nigeria Women League (NWL) Rivers Angels to tender their re-application letters on or before January 5, 2016.Recall 2013 NPL title winners, Dolphins retained their topflight status while Sharks were relegated to the second division at the end of the 2014/15 season.
Rivers Angels who won the NWL Super 6 failed to claim a double after losing out in the semi-finals of the 2015 Women Federation Cup which Sunshine Queens of Akure won.
