THE management of new promoted Nigeria National League (NNL) outfit, FC Yarmalight of Gombe has commiserated with the management of Nasarawa United FC of Lafia over the demise of captain, Idris Baba.Late Idris died after a brief illness in an undisclosed hospital Monday night.
A statement from the Gombe team said, "It's indeed so touching to hear the demise of a legendary captain of Nasarawa united Baba Idris.
FC Yarmalight hereby condole with the family of late Idris, Nasarawa United and entire football family over the touching story, may almighty Allah give his family the heart to bear the lost."
Meanwhile, the Team Manager of the Lafia side, Solomon Babanja, released a statement on Tuesday that late Idris had been buried yesterday morning according to Islamic rites.
