The four-day programme, saw Team Osun winning the event as they defeated Team Lagos 4-2 via penalties after regulation time ended goalless in the finals. Team Ogun emerged third.
Aregbesola, praised the leadership quality of Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, (Chairman Osun FA) for running the affairs of the association excellently despite cash crunch.
At a reception organized for the team at the Governor's Office, Aregbesola commended the kids determination, commitment, patriotism and soccer artistry which the team displayed in winning the maiden competition.
