NiajaSportsXtra can report that both Oliseh and Musa gave the Argentine five points each to the Barcelona of Spain star.The FIFA Technical Study Group (TSG) member like for the Catalan style of football may have seen him vote for the club strike force as his voting pattern goes thus, Messi Lionel (5pts), Neymar (3pts) and Suárez Luis (1pt).
But for Musa, he displayed African brotherhood as his voting pattern went Messi Lionel (5pts), Cristiano Ronaldo (3pts) and four times CAF African Player of the Year, Touré Yaya (1pt).
Audu Samm, who voted on behalf of Nigeria's sporting press gave five points to Messi Lionel, Cristiano Ronaldo (3pts) and Neymar a point.
The 28-year-old beat Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo and Barca team-mate Neymar to the game's most prestigious individual award in his spectacular career.
Messi polled 41.33 per cent of the vote, ahead of Ronaldo (27.76 per cent) and Neymar (7.86 per cent).
The Argentine was the hot favourite for the accolade voted for by international captains, coaches and a selection of media representatives from around the world having helped Barca to an historic treble of La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League in a 2014-15 season in which he netted
58 goals in all competitions.
