Pillars await Ganaru's final players list

By Rasaq Oboirien
THE management of Kano Pillars says they are yet to get Baba Ganaru's final players list for the upcoming Nigeria Premier League (NPL) season.
Idris Malikawa disclosed to NaijaSportsXtra after been asked to clarify reports on some of the transfers the former NPL champions had made as we countdown to the kick-off of the 2015/16 season.
"I can't be exact on the number of players Pillars want to, or have signed ahead of the season, as it’s only Baba Ganaru that can do so.
"As I speak with you, we are yet to get his list of players he intends to parade next season.
"It's from the list the management will now know of the players that will be signed, those that will have their contracts renewed, some that would have tendered a transfer request and of course, one or two that will be considered as surplus requirement.
On the report that the Pyramid team has signed CHAN Eagles ace, Chisom Chikatara, we are in the transfer period, so I wouldn't say it’s a rumour or not. Pillars operates a open door policy, as nobody can interfere into Ganaru's plans, as he has the final say regarding coaching, in view of this, any

players is free to come play for us if he meets the coaches requirements.
Pillars, who began a poor season with a bizarre robbery attack on their way to Owerri, and finishing 8th on the log with 55points, has vowed to wrestle Enyimba, Warri Wolves and other big guns in the Nigeria Premier League for this year's title.
