LOBI Stars FC of Makurdi and Supreme Court FC of Abuja, both started the Gold Cup Pre-Season Tournament on a winning note on Friday in Ijebu Ode.
Supreme Court pip Giwa FC of Jos 1-0, while Lobi Stars defeated Crown FC with same margin. Sammy Timothy was the hero for Supreme Court scoring the lone goal in the match as Giwa failed to capitalize on numerous scoring opportunities.The Apex Boys gave Giwa a good run with their penetrating moves.

Otekpa Eneji, got Lobi's lone goal in the 40th minute to ensure they defeated the impressive Crown side.
Meanwhile, Remo Stars bounce back to winning ways in their second match against COD United courtesy of Eneojo Joseph 15th minute strike.
However, Supreme Court will Saturday evening battle FC Ebedei, while Kano Pillars will trade tackle Giwa FC.
