Makinwa clears air on Onazi visit to Bremen

STEPHEN Makinwa has cleared the air on Italian radio following Ogenyi Onazi visit to German were he watched the game between Anthony Ujah's Werder Bremen against Hoffenheim at the Weserstadion, reports NaijaSportsXtra.

Makinwa is the agent of the Super Eagles vice captain who in January was linked to a move to the Green and Whites.
"Now the transfer market is closed. He was probably there to say hello to his countryman and national teammate.  Right now he only think about Lazio".
"It's a coincidence that his friend Anthony Ujah played for Werder Bremen, the club he was thinking about signing him in January."
Recall a German sports magazine, Kicker had reported Onazi's visit to Weserstadion on the weekend he was granted off by SS Lazio's coach will pave way for a possible transfer in June.
Sporting Director of the club, Thomas Eichin while responding to Kicker's question on why Onazi was in Germany said: "I know nothing, I have no idea why he was here."
Recall Bremen had to sign Sambou Yatabaré from Olympiakos after they said that Lazio's asking price for the Nigerian was too rich for the club.
