VIPERS duo of Shafik Bakaki and Ismail Watenga could make a return for their Ugandan side when they visit Port-Harcourt for the CAF Champions League preliminary 2nd leg tie against Enyimba FC of Aba.
Recall the 1st game in Kampala ended 1-0 in favour of the home team.
NaijaSportsXtra gathered from Vipers web that duo who had been sidelined with knee and groin injuries respectively, returned to training on Tuesday.
The duo did some light training separately from the rest of the team under close monitoring of Vipers’ doctor Mike Lule.
“They are still on their way to recovery but are responding well to the physical exercises. we hope in a few days time the pair will have gained full fitness,” team doctor revealed.
However coach Nsimbe was delighted to see the players respond well to training and he is optimistic both could be available for the Champions League return leg in Nigeria.
