SUPER Eagles midfielder, John Mikel Obi has admitted that Sunday’s FA Cup fifth-round tie against Manchester City will be massive for Chelsea, reports NaijaSportsXtra.
The Nigerian who scored The Blues equalising goal against PSG
at the Parc de Princes on Tuesday night said: "You never know what team they’ll put out. “I’m sure they want to win the FA Cup as much as we do. We want to win every game. We want to win every cup. Sunday is going to be massive. "We can’t win the league. So the FA Cup and the Champions League are the ones and we have to keep going.”
Mikel, who caused the first goal against Chelsea when he fouled Lucas and then deflected the ball into the net, said:“It was my foul, I got booked, and then the deflection … so it was three things. But we came back strong and I got the equaliser back, which was great.
“We’re very disappointed losing the goal at the end [to Edinson Cavani]. We deserved more."
