THE secretariat of the Nationwide League One (NLO) has announced the postponement of it earlier scheduled Annual General Meeting (AGM) indefinitely.
NLO AGM was slated for February 25th and26th but with the latest ad-hoc committee set up by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to study and propose the structure of the leagues the secretariat of NLO had postponed the AGM pending when the committee will be through with its assignment.
"The Nationwide League One secretariat hereby wishes to inform all clubs in the NLO that the earlier date proposed of 25th and 26th February 2016 for the congress has been postponed indefinitely.
"A new date will be communicated to you as soon as the ad-hoc committees set up by NFF to study and compose governance structures for the leagues complete their assignment.
"We also use this medium to remind you that registration closes on the 26th February and we employ those that has completed their online registration to please ensure they fill their players' licenses and submit for processing."
The executive secretary of NLO Olushola Ogunnowo told the nigerianationwideleague.com that most clubs have registered and the league will kick off as planned, and as soon as the committee is done with it assignment.
