The midfielder who was arguably the Oluyole Warriors best player last season scoring seven goals left the Ibadan darling team to join the seventh time Nigeria Premier League kings with a view of playing in the CAF Champions League. Recall the Peoples Elephants will tackle Ugandan side, Vipers FC in Kampala at the preliminary round which begins next week.
"We told him that he was making a mistake dumping Shooting Stars for the Aba Elephants as they had better midfielders and his chances of getting the playing time he desires was slim.
"But him been ambitious, he went by his decision and now he's calling the club management that he wants to come back.
"If things go well, he could come back on loan. But that still depends on the Technical Adviser, Kadiri Ikhana and his assistants," said an inside club source.
