Medrano relishes point against Sunshine Stars

By Rasaq Oboirien
TAMEN Medrano Ngathie says the one point FC IfeanyiUbah got against Sunshine Stars at the Akure Stadium on matchday 5 is a big boost for his team as they keep up the chase for the

Nigeria Premier League (NPL) title.
The Cameroonian who wore the colours of the Owena Waves for good five seasons when he signed from Tiko United said on his facebook page, "Sad with the results from both ends but massive boost for us with this away draw against my former team#we keep our head cool#congrats to us#Forza FC IFEANYI UBAH."
Ifeanyiubah thought they had got the 3points after Okereke Maduabuchi 86th minute finish off a superb counter, but their joy was then cut short after Ex-Super Eagles defender, Kunle Odunlami forced an equaliser after he bundled the ball into the opponent's net from a goal mouth melee.
Meanwhile, Sunshine Stars remain the only club that has not recorded a victory this season.
The one point gain shoots IfeanyiUbah to 8th on the Nigeria Premier League log with seven points.
