Siasia drill Chikatara, Etebo, nine others for Egypt

SUPER Eagles interim coach, Samson Siasia and his assistant Emmanuel Amunike on Tuesday drilled Chisom Chikatara, Oghenekaro Etebo and nine other home-based players as they continued preparations for the AFCON 2017 double header against Egypt on March 25 in Kaduna, reports NaijaSportsXtra.
Both coaches were actively involved in training at practice pitch of Abuja National Stadium after the players returned from the weekend break were they had gone to represent their respective Nigeria Premier League (NPL) clubs.
The 11 players that were in camp are Ike Ezenwa, Emma Daniel, Chisom Chikatara, Oghenekaro Etebo, Kalu Orji, Austin Obaroakpo, Chibuzor Okonkwo, Etim Matthew, Sincere Seth, Ifeanyi Matthew and Godwin Obaje.
Meanwhile, Coach Samson Siasia has freed the duo of goalkeeper Femi Thomas and CHAN-Eagles skipper, Chima Akas for Enyimba as they prepare for the CAF Champions League 2nd
leg tie against Vital 'O of Burundi.
Recall the Peoples Elephants who put up a five star performance in the 1st leg meeting in Port-Harcourt demolished their opponents 5-1.
