GIWA/RANGERS TIE: Police arrest irate Jos fan

POLICE in Jos have arrested and detained a fan who was suspected to have assaulted the match officials that handled the abandoned Matchday 12 game between Giwa FC and Rangers,
reports NaijaSportsXtra.
Recall the game was abandoned in the 74th minute with the Flying Antelopes leading 1-0.
Godwin Aguda scored the opening goal in the 26th minutes after he  ghosts behind GIwa defence, rounds the keeper and finishes.
The match officials and players of Rangers were held under siege as fans hurled missiles on to the pitch, as they vent their frustrations.
According to the League Management Company (LMC) official twitter handle, the identity of the fan is yet to be revealed by the police and no charge has been placed on him yet as the incident is still been investigated.
