Mafo charges Sunshine to tame Warri Wolves

ONDO State Football Agency boss, Prince John Ola Mafo has charged players of Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure to tame Warri Wolves.
Speaking during a visit to the players of Sunshine Stars before their departure to Warri  ahead of the week 17 match of the Nigeria Professional Football League against Warri Wolves, Mafo stressed the need for the players to remain focused.
According to the Sunshine Stars President, it is very important for the players to keep the flag flying and remain focused following a hard fought win over Rangers of Enugu.
"Let me congratulate you for the victory over Rangers. It was a huge and important victory for you as players, for our biggest supporter (Mr Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko) and for soccer loving people of the state"."You won a very difficult match and I hope you will continue from there as we face Warri Wolves in our next match".
The former commissioner for Information, Youth Development and Sports while thanking God for the victory against Rangers stressed the need for the players and soccer loving people of the state to always put God first.
"The Almighty God has been so kind to us and we bless his holy name. It is important for all of us to remain steadfast and put our trust in God. With hard work, determination and commitment, as well as God's blessing, we shall celebrate at the end of the season".
The ODSFA boss also used the event to give cash rewards to players of Sunshine Stars as a mark of appreciation of the victory over Rangers as well as motivation ahead of the week 17 tie against Warri Wolves at the Warri Township Stadium this weekend.
Team captain, Abe Sunday while expressing their gratitude to the Sunshine Stars' Management for the gesture, promised on behalf of the players to remain resolute and determined in a bid to achieve the set targets this season.
