.Sends delegation to Amodu's family

THE Nigeria Senate has urged the Federal Government to immortalise late Super Eagles coach, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi as it also resolved to send a delegation to condole with the family of late Amodu Shuaibu.
'Big Boss', who became the second African to win the AFCON as a player and coach, died of a suspected heart failure late Wednesday in Benin, the Edo State capital.
Three days later, Amodu, 58, was reported dead after complaining of chest pains the previous night.

Keshi who passed away on June 8th, 2016 and four-times Super Eagles Coach Amodu Shuaibu who passed away on June 10th 2016.
Ogba, an ex-Delta State Commissioner for Youths and Sports eulogised the late 'Big Boss' and Amodu.
The Senate then resolved to send a delegate to condole with the family of late Stephen Okechukwu Keshi and the government and people of Delta State and Amodu's family and the government and people of Edo State.
A one minute silence was held for the ex-Hawks of Togo coach and Amodu who until his death was the NFF Technical Director.
The Senate also resolves to urge the FG to immortalise the late Super Eagles Captain.
Meanwhile, Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki spoke on how he was friends with late Keshi and on how late Amodu contributed to football in Nigeria and how he will be greatly missed.
Other distinguished Senators take turns to speak on the life and times of the late coach who qualified Nigeria to two world cups but was never in the dug-out.
