Mikel shift focus from Rio to Chelsea EPL run

NIGERIA'S men football Olympic team captain, John Obi Mikel say he's now set for club duties and to help Chelsea in its quest for silverware under Antonio Conte, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Mikel who led Nigeria to winning a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, beating Honduras could not but express delight after sharing a picture of him wearing the country's medal on social media, instagram and twitter.

The 29 year-old who missed Chelsea first two victories against West Ham and Watford under the Italian, looks set to fight for a place ahead Ngolo Kante and Matic for the Blues holding midfield role.
However, due to a long flight hours and transiting at different airports from Rio to London, the Nigerian is not likely to get any role in Chelsea's this weekend home game against promoted Burnley who recorded a shocking home win against an inform Liverpool last weekend.
