Rangers pip INGAS FC 1-0

RANGERS International of Enugu on Saturday defeated non-league side, INGAS FC in a warm-up game, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
The Nigeria Premier League ( NPL) leaders who were exempted from this weekend match day 30 games as a result of its players and coach involvement in the NPL All-Stars squad tour to Spain, had to play the game to keep its players fit.
The NPL team will take on Valencia in their first game of the Trofoe Carranza tournament.
Amanfor Chimezie scored the only goal in the tie.
Meanwhile, Chinedu Sunday has been cleared fit by the Flying Antelopes.
The midfielder is said to have gained match fitness and ready to fight for places in the remaining matches of the season.
Rangers currently top the log with 48points from 29 matches.
