Everton: Focus key to Enyimba game

HEAD Coach of FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Rafael Everton has urged his players to remain focused throughout the match against Enyimba.
Everton insisted that concentration will be very key in a match of such magnitude, if his lads must claim all as three points.
‘Sunday is a big match. A derby against Enyimba who won the league last season, we must be focused throughout the game and be tactically disciplined so as to win the match. The team is fully motivated because we now that a win will take us within touching distance of securing a continental ticket.’
When asked whether the absence of Tamen Medrano (suspended), Kojo Baah(suspended) and Seka Pascal(injury), will affect the team come Sunday, the Brazilian tactician maintained that his team still has enough quality players available to defeat Enyimba.
‘I said it before my players are the best in this league. The others who have not been playing are also very good. I have been speaking to the players all week long in training and they are fully motivated for Sunday.’
He also urged the fans to come out in their numbers for Sunday’s match.
‘I want the fans to come out massively to support the team. The players love it when the fans are out in their numbers because it motivates them. We really need them to be there and cheer us to victory as Sunday’s match will also be our final home match of the season.’
