PLAYERS of Ikorodu United have promised Rangers hell in Sunday's bottom and top of the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) log clash at the MKO Abiola Stadium, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
The giant-killers who have beaten the likes of Kano Pillars, Heartland and Enyimba in their new fortress Abeokuta, since their departure from the home ground Onikan Stadium, Lagos more than a month ago, are looking to boost their unbeaten home run with a victory over the yet to be crowned league champions.
A visit on Ikorodu United social media platforms informed its players are not ready to play their last home game of the season with kid gloves.
Ex-Enyimba ace, Michael Okoyoh who ended his former side's continental hopes scoring the winning goal in the five goal thriller said: "Here in Ikorodu United we let the ball do the major talk. Rangers we await you."
The duo of Uche Gold and Omini Somtochukwu spoke with venom, "Rangers will regret their visit to MKO. MKO will be so sorrowful for them."
" I am calling our fans to come out and support us because tomorrow match, is one we want to win for the fans to make them proud in as much as we are going down with pride," they were quoted.
For a calm Muyiwa Lawal, " There is no better time to play Rangers than now. It will be a classic match for both team and the people of Abeokuta".
Recall, 25points separates the teams as IKorodu Utd have 32points while league leaders, Rangers are on 57 points.
