NPL title perfect gift for IfeanyiUbah boss-Medrano


FC IFEANYIUBAH Cameroonian midfield, Tamen Medrano says winning the Nigeria Premier League (NPL) title will be a perfect reward for the president of the club.
The ex-Tiko United and his Anambra Warriors mates will lock horns against Lobi Stars on Sunday at the Aper Akum Stadium, Makurdi in a match day 36 encounter.
‘We are fully focused on getting all three points, at this stage of the season we are taking the matches one after the other, we have prepared well this week and I believe we are going to get a positive result on Sunday.
The Anambra Warriors who are in search of it maiden NPFL title has been in sincilating form since the start of the 2nd round of the 2016 NPFL season, losing one three of its 15 matches played so far in the league and Tamen Medrano believes that clinching the NPFL title will be a perfect way to reward the President and Proprietor of the club Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah for his support towards them.
‘Winning the league will be a huge accomplishment for us, our careers and to be part of the history of the club. It is also a perfect reward for the President because he has invested a lot in the team this season. Most importantly, winning the league will mean a lot to the people of Anambra State because they have not had a team that has won the league and it will be wonderful to put a smile on their faces.’
