Algeria turn to Troussier for Eagles, Foxes game in Uyo

PHILIPPE Troussier could make a sensational return against Nigeria with Algeria's Desert Foxes in next month's World Cup qualifiers in Uyo, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
According to the latest information from a source in Algiers the Federation of Algerian Football (FAF)  president  Mohamed Raouraoua have finally reached an agreement with the former Nigerian coach.
The name of the 61 year old French who coached South Africa and Japan in two world cups in (France 1998) and (Korea-Japan 2002) was leaked two days ago after the news that Rolland Courbis will be named as the new manger of French Ligue 1 side, Lorient.
A deal is yet to be signed between FAF and Troussier as the Algerian football board needs to meet before the end of the week to deliberate on the Frenchman.
Meanwhile, Troussier who currently lives in Morocco didn't give his response to the development when questioned by journalists.
The Frenchman is said to have greatbAfrican experience with Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Benin and Nigeria.
