ARSENAL Alexander Iwobi and Man City's Kelechi Iheanacho were among the 18 other Super Eagles stars that have arrived the Abuja camp of the country's male national football team to begin preparations for this weekend Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Zambia in Ndola, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
The camp which is now made up of foreign pros of Alex Iwobi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Brown Ideye, Wilfred Ndidi, Nosa Igiebor, Kenneth Omeruo, William Troost Ekong, Uche Agbo, Musa Muhammed, Carl Ikeme, Elderson Echiejile, Ogenyi Onazi, Moses Simon and local based players of Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Emmanuel Daniel, Jamiu Alimi, Bobby Clement and Chisom Egbuchulam took part in two open training sessions programmed for 10am and 4.15pm daily beginning from today (Tuesday) at the Practice pitch of the National Stadium, Abuja.
The morning session started with an introductory brief talk from Gernot Rohr, then the players began a light work out as the German coach and his assistant coaches watched from a distance.
Meanwhile, captain John Mikel Obi and Ahmed Musa are expected to join their mates before the end of today or wee hours of Wednesday.
