NIGERIA Premier League (NPL) side, Gombe Utd will unveil its new Technical Adviser, Manu Garba (MON) next week, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
A source in the camp of the newly promoted side revealed in a chat that Garba who led Nigeria's cadet team to the SUWON Tourney in Korea arrived Gombe state on Wednesday.
"The TA is currently in town after leading Nigeria to the SUWON Tourney, he should sign his contract papers and would be presented to the Savannah Scorpions fans and media before the end of Friday next week.
"I can't be exact on the day of the week, as the management had proposed Monday next week. It could be possible on the said day or any of the day baring any hindrance."
Regarding the club's preparation for the new season after spending the last two in the second tier league when they got relegated, Manu our source informed would determine the date, venue and also the number of players they would recruit to beef up the squad ahead the December 11 NPL new season commencement date.
"After his unveiling, he would then communicate to the management his plans for the team and how he intends to tackle the season."
Asked if there could be any clause in his contract with the Savannah Scorpions.
"That am not aware of, but as an ambitious club, it's expected that we cap our season winning silverwares or at least a continental spot as the case may be."
