SUPER Falcons coach Florence Omagbemi is confident that host Cameroon and arch rivals, Ghana won't put much pressure on the defending champions at the 2016 Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
Nigeria is in Group B at the biennial women championship alongside Ghana, Mali and Kenya.
Omagbemi who could be the first female soccer legend to win the AWCON as player and coach told CafOnline that:"In my playing days, it was never easy games against the Ghanaians though we usually had the upper hands."
"Nigeria and Ghana started women’s football at that same time and they have ideas and talents about the women’s game.
"So, the Black Queens and even the Cameroonians would naturally want to pose a challenge but we are going to take our matches one at a time because there are no smaller teams again in football.
"We are not under any pressure.
"We just want to retain our trophy as the defending champions."
The tournament which runs between November 19 and December 3, while see Nigeria begin its title defence against Mali on November 20, before matches against Ghana and Kenya on November 23 and 26 respectively.
