NIGERIA 3-1 ALGERIA: Chelsea hail Moses, Mikel

CHELSEA of England have paid tribute to Super Eagles captain, John Mike Obi and a Victor Moses, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
A post shared on it's official twitter @ChelseaFC last night after Nigeria made it two out of two wins in the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers read: "What a night for @VictorMoses and @mikel_john_obi! 👏.."
A comprehensive report on the Blues website states, It was a fantastic night for Victor Moses and John Mikel Obi as they shared the goals in Nigeria’s 3-1 win over Algeria in World Cup qualification.
Moses opened the scoring on 26 minutes, with Mikel doubling the Super Eagles’ lead just before half-time. Algeria pulled one back through Nabil Bentaleb, but Moses sealed his brace and the win with a stoppage-time effort. Kenneth Omeruo also featured for Nigeria and the result leaves them top of the group with maximum points from two matches.
It was a proud moment for Mikel who scored his 5th goal in 76th game for Nigeria had prior to Saturday's game shared a tweet on his official twitter @mikel_john_obi.
"It's a long road to #Russia2018 but today we can go one step closer. Get behind the team later, let's all do Nigeria proud #SuperEagles 🇳🇬."
