Kastina Utd battles ABS FC in NNL Super4 final

KASTINA United will lock horns against Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC of Ilorin in the final of the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 4 after they beat Remo Stars 3-0 on Wednesday night at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe, reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Suleiman Musa scored the tourney first goal from open play in the 16th minute following a poor defending from the Sky Blues defenders.
The Nnduka Ugbade side then responded immediately but their efforts were denied by goalkeeper, Yinka David who made a double save from Remo Stars strikers in the 25th minute.
David also made a point blank save to deny Remo Stars what should have been their first goal five minutes later.
As the game near the end of first half, the Sky Blues defenders were caught napping again leaving Joshua Agboola to score Kastina United second goal of the game in the 43rd minute.
The second half saw better attacking football from Remo Stars but the experience of old-horse Ado Ali came to play as his defence partner and him kept Remo Stars Nanso at bay.
The Bala Nyiki team then scored the goal that broke the camel's back, as Obinna Eleje made it 3-0 to put the game beyond the reach of a hard fighting Sky Blues.
The team from Shagamu, Ogun State will now face host, Gombe United in the losers final on Thursday by 4pm while ABS FC who defeated the Savannah Scorpions 4-5 on penalties will be having their hands full against an attacking minded Kastina United in the final at 6:30pm.
