Lobi Stars hail non-league side, Esperanza

GENERAL Coordinator of Lobi Stars,  Samuel Aindigh has heaped praises on non-league side, Esperanza FC of Lagos despite their 2-0 loss to the Makurdi in a tune-up in Ijebu-Ode today (Friday), reports NaijaSportsXtra.blogspot.com.
Speaking after the friendly game, "They are a good side full of energy and with lots of talents. They were not scared playing against us, as some of players in the team gave a good account of themselves.
"Watching the game, I saw one or two players that are of interest to us, but I really do not want to talk much about them.
"The advantages of this kind of friendly games, it gives the team the need confidence and also help the technical crew to fine tune its game plans.
"I see Esperanza going places if the continue like this and kudos to coaches for assembling this kind of team."
Sunday Alimi gave the 'Food Basket' team the lead in the 17th minute. 
Lobi Stars then took full charge of the match from that moment with Benernd Ikwu and Eche Idakwo impressive movement on and off the ball to make life difficult for the visitors.
Irohe Lute would've made it two nil for Lobi stars before half time after missing clear-cut chances.
Barnabas Danile wasted no time to make his mark as he scored the second goal just a minute in the second half to give Lobi Stars a comfortable two goal lead.
