Ajoku’s strike force Rangers to draw

NIGER Tornadoes Chidebere Ajoku maintained his goal scoring form after his 45 minute strike cancelled out Rangers International Godwin Aguda’s goal to secure a point on the road at the Cathedral Enugu for his team.
Rangers started the game with fast attacking style of football as they went for early killer goal, but Tornadoes goalkeeper Mustapha Aliko who is in superb form of life denied the Flying Antelopes to convert the chances that came their way.
As the game progressed, Niger Tornadoes quickly got themselves back into the game, and their incursion into the vital areas were menacing.
The interchange passes between Chidebere Ajoku, Christian Attah and Ebenezer Odeyemi were handful and causing a lot of problems to Rangers defenders.
Mustapha Aliko in the 40th minute was unable to hold unto Bobby Clement’s free kick and the onrushing Aguda scored for the Flying Antelopes from the rebound.
The celebration of the home supporters was cut short as Christian Attahand Chidebere Ajoku broke away from the centre circle, with just three passes the dismantled three Rangers defenders and Ajuku tipped the ball over Rangers Ghanaian International goalkeeper, Nana Bonsu to level score line.
Tornadoes resume the second with more fireworks, what Coach Abubakar Bala must have told his boys’ actually yielded positive result as the much youthful Tornadoes side gave good account of themselves.
However, the last stage of the game proved to be interesting as it was an end to end attacking and Tornadoes defense line had to remain solid to deny Rangers maximum points.
